Karagaqi Park is an attractive natural beauty public area created by human efforts and complemented for years by nature itself. Now days this park is becoming a value that affects the identity of Peja and at the same time is used to promote success story of sustainable environment.<\/p>

It is a natural attraction used to the maximum by the citizens of Peja spending the time in the beauty of nature, supplying the body with fresh air and performing out recreation activities. It changes in every season of the year and is unique in terms of appearance but stands out in the autumn season in terms of color.<\/p>

According to the local old people’s stories, we understand that this park was built in 1929. The park was designed by a Russian engineer on the land where the graveyards used to be, and at that time it was one of the most beautiful parks in the southern part of the Yugoslav kingdom. In its center is located the lake and in its surrounded by walking, recreation and jogging paths of different lengths and designed for the development of recreational activities for all ages, while in the southern part there are toys for children, fitness corner and sports field. In its composition is a variety of flora, and under their greenery are also housed various creatures such as reptiles and different types of birds.<\/p>

Another additional value of this park is many activities are carried out by the athletes every day from morning to evening to conduct their training. Now many other cultural and educational activities are also organized in this park. Among them is the screening of animated film festival \u201cAnibar\u201d as well as visits from schools where educational topics are addressed.<\/p>

The real beauty of this park can be seen during the autumn season when the colors of nature turn this park into an attraction and in addition to local residents there are also tourists who come to visit and take attractive photos.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
