To visit Peja and Rugova Gorge it is necessary to try yourself in the recreational climbing activity which will give you adrenaline and unforgettable experiences. Climbing has started to become a unique offer and Peja is always becoming the destination of rock climbing and this thanks to the demand which is increasing from tourists looking for this type of adventure activity. Almost all tourists who visit Peja and have reached this destination for a different purpose, and they at least book one day for the rock climbing activity in order to experience the spiritual adventures and unique experiences offered by climbing in the Mountain region of Rugova. This activity in Peja has started to take place since 2002 in the Rugova Gorge.

More than 60 climbing lines are open with a length of 10 to 200m, while their difficulty ranges from 5a to 8a +. Most of the climbing lines are concentrated in the gorge of Rugova but there are also in other parts of Rugova which complement the tourist offer in Peja. In the summer season, almost every day you see climbers who carry out this activity in the Rugova Gorge or in other parts of Rugova. Some areas offer conditions for daily camping.
